One long overdue ink drawing

Last night I finally got around to finishing a drawing that I promised to someone back in August:

I've had kind of a love/hate relationship with these heavy ink drawings over the last few years: I really love making them, but they hate when I try and slip a bit of soft rendering into them. Maybe someday I'll just suck it up and start laying in some light washes. . .

Anyways, I keep forgetting how much I like doing drawings like this so I'm going to make more time for them this year. If nothing else, they'll help me decorate my living room :B
